Meet The CEO

Still Waters Gathering Place emerged from my own arduous journey through homelessness, a crucible that tested my physical and spiritual strength to their very limits. In those dark years of wandering without a place to call home, I clung desperately to my faith, even as I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, beset on all sides by the heavy psychological barriers that perpetuated my displacement. The trauma, mental health struggles, and deep-rooted systemic inequities formed a tangled web that seemingly kept me trapped in the vicious cycle of homelessness, ensnaring me in devastating pitfalls at every turn, despite my most determined efforts to break free from its clutches. Yet ultimately, through this trial by fire, as I prayed fervently for deliverance, I came to see that my tribulations had a greater purpose - to forge in the crucible of adversity the empathy, strength, and unshakable resolve I would need to bring hope to others lost in the wilderness of homelessness. My own painful experiences became the key to unlocking my calling, allowing me to compel others to find a place of refuge and renewal where they can find rest for their souls, and take steps on the road to healing and  recovery.

About Us

At Still Waters, we take a holistic approach, caring for the entire person - mind, body and soul. We believe everyone is made in God's image, full of potential and worthy of dignity. Yet we know trauma and injustice can dim that divine spark within. Our mission is to rekindle it through God’s direction through study, research, and planning to develop recovery program initiatives.

Through faith-based initiatives, we aim to reflect God's heart for the poor and outcast. We seek to be a beacon of hope, a testament to His unfailing love. At our core is the conviction that through Christ, all things are possible to those who believe. This is the essence of our core (Mark 9:23).

Welcome to Still Waters Gathering Place, Inc.

"Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."  (Mark 9:23, King James Version, KJV)
